About
Trevor's New Day Foundation was created to honor Trevor Wilson's desire to support and enjoy outdoor experiences that help calm the body, mind, and spirit. In life, he was selflessly passionate about equality, the environment, mental and physical wellness, and challenges facing underserved communities such as homelessness, gaps in mental health care support, accessible integrated healthcare, opportunities in the creative arts, and availability of quality outdoor experiences.
However, Trevor’s untimely passing was a shock to all of his friends, family, colleagues, and the like. He had a huge heart and out-sized empathy for others; known to even put his own life on the line for the protection and care of anyone he loved, never leaving them to feel alone.
These ideals guide the charitable work performed by this foundation and they serve as a litmus test for direct donations to other like minded public charities.
Trevor's New Day Foundation supports the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 3, Good Health and Well-Being.
"Reduce by one third premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being."
"Strengthen the prevention and treatment of substance abuse, including narcotic drug abuse and harmful use of alcohol."
